Abigeal is currently an independent consultant working to design and deliver a variety of leadership programs, communication skills, conflict management, team building and other training programs. She was previously the co-coordinator and facilitator of the British Council InterAction Leadership Programme that runs in nineteen African countries and the UK within a year time span. As part of this programme, she participated in facilitating Pan African events in South Africa, Mauritius and Senegal in which the participants were drawn from the twenty countries.
Abigael’s facilitation engagements involve working mostly with the NGO sector, where she designs and delivers short and long term transformative leadership programs. Some of her engagements include designing and delivering a one year leadership program for IIE (International Institute for Education), a six month leadership development program for MSH(Management Sciences for Health), a series of leadership and conflict management trainings for university students under PACT Ethiopia, strategic planning process for L10K (Last Ten Kilometers) and designing and delivering integration process between Pathfinder Ethiopia and ESHE Project. Abigael has gone through a series of Facilitators Development Programmes designed by Questions of Difference (QoD) and British Council, TOT from Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) and TOT on Managers Who Lead (a TOT course for delivering the global leadership development program) designed by MSH.
Abigael has also an extensive experience in the development sector, where she worked as project officer and then program manager in local and international NGOs. She has a Bachelors degree in Public Administration and Management and holds an advanced certificate in Peace and Conflict Transformation from the European University Centre for Peace Studies, Austria.
