Center for African Leadership Development (CALD) has designed and facilitated a one-day training on teamwork and communication skills for all staff members of Acme Engineering and Trading P.L.C. In addition to the presentations delivered, participants have been assisted to experience various practical exercises that would catalyze discussions and generate insights on building effective teamwork and communication skills.

The management and all the staff members of the company were very happy with the output of  the facilitation work undertaken by CALD’s team. We have witnessed the thorough preparation, professionalism and competence in the way CALD handled the task we entrusted to them.

CALD prepared facilitators’ guide and participants’ manual for 75 hours Life Skills and Business Skills module development and delivered a TOT for selected trainers and staff of MEDA for cascading the training package to the target group, Jan – March 2013.

CALD delivered a 2 days ‘Mentoring Skills’ training for Selam Children Village social workers, counselors, and foster parents who are taking care of more than 500 children and youth, June 2012. …

SIHA is a network of partnership which encloses various civil society organizations being led by women executives. Center for African Leadership Development (CALD) has undertaken an assignment to design and deliver an Organizational Leadership/Management Development Program for 12 Executive Directors of Women focused Organizations under the partnership. The program has contained training, consultancy, coaching and follow-up over three rounds. There has been employed a variety of models and processes to foster leadership / management development practices through well thought-out, internationally accepted, and contextually relevant approaches.

The participants were very much motivated and encouraged during the delivery of the program. Both the participants and the SIHA management recognized the commitment, flexibility and professionalism displayed by the facilitator that CALD assigned.

The SIHA management and program organizers have been greatly pleased by the performance made by CALD. It is our pleasure to testify about the positive impact and contributions made by CALD. We recommend CALD for similar other interventions and we will also use their services where there is a need in the future to work together with CALD on various organizational and leadership development programs throughout the network.
